Real Estate Agent Headshots in Toronto and the GTA
As a real estate agent, your photograph is doing more work than almost anyone else’s. It is on your brokerage profile, your business card, your feature sheets, your postcards, your SOLD signs and quite possibly a bus bench. It is the first thing a seller sees when deciding who to trust with one of the biggest financial decisions of their life.
I photograph REALTOR headshots for agents and brokerages across Toronto, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket and the wider GTA, at my studio at 7250 Keele St, Unit 181 in Concord — Highway 400 and 407, free parking at the door — or on location at your brokerage. Sessions are built to produce one consistent set of images that covers every placement, print and digital, from a single sitting.
Every session is tailored to your market, your personality and your brokerage branding, whether you want a polished corporate look or a more contemporary lifestyle portrait. I guide you through posing, expression, wardrobe and image selection, so the final photographs feel like you rather than like a stock photo.
What a REALTOR Headshot Actually Has to Do
Most headshot sessions are planned for the web and the print requirements are discovered later, when the file turns out to be too small or cropped too tightly for a sign. Real estate is the one profession where that happens constantly, so these sessions are planned backwards from the printed placements.
Brokerage and board profile photos
Brokerages and boards each have their own crop, aspect ratio and background preferences, and some specify a plain light background. Tell me which brokerage you are with and the session includes a variant that meets its spec, alongside the images you actually want to use.
Signage and large-format print
SOLD signs, bus benches and billboards are viewed from metres away and are often cropped to a shape nothing like a web profile. Those need full-resolution files with deliberate head room and side room left in the frame so a designer can crop to a tall sign or a wide bench without cutting into your face. If signage is planned, say so at booking and the framing accounts for it.
Feature sheets, postcards and listing presentations
Just Listed and Just Sold postcards, feature sheets and listing presentations usually place your portrait small and alongside property photography, so the image needs to read clearly at thumbnail size — which means clean separation from the background and an expression that still carries when the photo is two centimetres wide.
Digital placements
Website, REALTOR listings, Google Business Profile, social channels and email signature all get web-optimised versions in the right crops, so you are not resizing a print file every time a platform rejects it.
One Session, Every Placement
Finished real estate headshots are delivered in high resolution and prepared for both print and digital use. In practice a single session covers:
- OREA and brokerage profile photos, and REALTOR website listings
- Business cards, brochures, feature sheets and listing presentations
- Just Listed and Just Sold postcards, and SOLD sign photography
- Bus benches, billboards, magazine and newspaper advertising
- Social media, Google Business Profile and email signatures
- Press features and community sponsorship materials
You receive both the full-resolution files for print and web-optimised versions for digital placements, with retouching kept natural — skin and stray hair tidied, but you still recognisably you when a client meets you at a showing.
Brokerage and Team Sessions
A brokerage roster photographed by five different people over five years looks exactly like that on the agents page. Team sessions are scheduled in per-person time slots so a full office can be photographed in a single day to one lighting and framing standard, with the whole set delivered together.
I keep the lighting specification for every brokerage on file, so agents who join later can be photographed to match the existing set instead of standing out. For larger offices the session can run on site, which keeps agents in the building and between appointments rather than travelling to a studio.
- Per-person time slots so the day stays on schedule
- One consistent standard across the entire roster
- On-site sessions at your brokerage across the GTA
- New-agent sessions matched to your existing roster
- Individual and group shots of the team in the same visit
Studio or On-Location Realtor Portraits
The studio in Concord gives complete control of light and background, which is what you want for the clean brokerage-profile image and the signage crop. It is the faster option and it is the one most agents book.
On-location sessions put you in a context that does some of the selling for you — a listing you are proud of, a recognisable street in the neighbourhood you farm, your own office. These lifestyle portraits work particularly well on social media and in personal branding material, where a plain background can feel impersonal. Many agents book both: the formal set at the studio and a short location session afterwards.
If you need a broader personal-branding library rather than a headshot — you at work, with clients, at a showing — that is a separate kind of session; see personal branding photography. For a standard professional or corporate headshot outside real estate, see professional headshots and business portraits.
